great mic..better price. blue bluebird
Thought I would take some time out to talk about one of the microphones that I’ve been using a lot lately. The Blue BlueBird.I love this microphone. The clarity of the Bluebird is great and i’m always impressed at how well it handles every recording situation. I’ve had and sold a Neumann TLM103 and after many sessions and daily use I have to say I’m much happier with the Bluebird as a GO-TO MIC. I’ve used the Blue Kiwi as well, which is quite popular and the bigger brother to the Bluebird. I’ve A/B’d the Bluebird and the Kiwi and for many applications I’m still in favor of the Bluebird, particularly on mid-range (alto) male vocals. These day’s you can easily get amazing recordings with the right investment, my advice to all of you interested in buying a microphone, WAY YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and I’ll let you know that I will never sell or trade the Bluebird. If you can find a place to rent this microphone first and try it out, I guarantee that you will be amazed by the quality, and it’s recession friendly which is always a plus. This definitely gets the KNETIC stamp!
